Job Overview

In this role at the Marvin Composites plan in Fargo, ND, you'll be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, which includes inspecting the contents, recording relevant data, and distributing the items to their designated locations. On the shipping side, you'll prepare outgoing materials, ensuring they are packaged securely and accompanied by the necessary documentation for transport.

You'll get to operate material handling equipment, collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders, and continuously look for ways to improve processes! Additionally, the dynamic nature of shipping and receiving means you'll often be faced with new challenges and opportunities to problem-solve.

 

Highlights of your role

• Safely operate material handling equipment, striving for minimal forklift incidents, and diligently conduct required inspections and PPE standards
• Monitor, audit, and document production consumables and raw materials to maintain precise inventory levels
• Receive, inspect, and distribute inbound shipments, and process outbound shipments efficiently to support freight and sales goals, including coordinating delivery schedules and rescheduling as needed
• Support production needs and packaging needs, including picking and packing finished goods, maintaining packing materials, submitting create counts, and transferring specialty raw materials
• Foster open communication among team members, actively sharing improvement ideas, and showcasing adaptability to meet evolving business demands.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Maintain current Marvin Composites forklift certification or the ability to obtain one
  • A valid driver’s license is required with means of transportation to travel between Fargo facilities
  • Moderate computer proficiency
  • Ability to successfully complete all position-required training
