Job Overview

Marvin Composites is hiring an Accounting Intern at the Fargo, ND location. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. The Accounting Intern will assist with various accounting tasks and projects, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department.

 

This is a paid internship. It is full-time during the summer and part-time with a flexible schedule during the school year. We’re looking for candidates available to work year-round, balancing their academic schedules and professional growth.

 

Highlights of your role

  • Assist with financial record preparation, data entry, and report maintenance
  • Support accounts payable, receivable, and month-end closing tasks
  • Conduct research, analysis, and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices'
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and experience with Power BI or similar tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively throughout various department levels
  • Detail oriented with strong organization and time management skills to maintain accuracy and keep tasks on track
