Job Overview

Marvin Composites is hiring an EHS Coordinator for our Fargo, ND location. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a vital role in promoting a safe and healthy workplace. This crucial role requires the coordination of environmental, safety, and health programs to ensure adherence to OSHA standards.

 

You will actively participate in implementing EHS programs and policies, fostering a culture of safety and injury prevention throughout the organization. Leading overhead dust cleaning efforts, along with assisting with hazard control, compliance initiatives, and gathering valuable feedback on corrective actions. Highlights of your role

  • Lead overhead dust mitigation efforts, including measuring dust levels, cleaning, and analyzing data to support ongoing improvement
  • Contribute to managing hazardous waste streams under the direction of the Facility Engineer.
  • Facilitate health and safety compliance, including scheduling required screenings (e.g., hearing tests, respiratory fit testing) and supporting the testing and servicing of safety equipment and systems.
  • Support EHS compliance efforts by participating in audits, inspections, and safety teams (e.g., Safety Committee, Ergonomics Team), including detailing findings and producing reports.
  • Collaborate with the EHS team on emergency preparedness and response, including real-life emergencies and drills (e.g., fire drills and emergency evacuations).

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, day shift hours

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred

Also want to make sure you have

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred
  • Comfortable with heights and willingness to operate scissor and boom lifts (training provided), with a strong dedication to safety
  • Basic computer skills to navigate systems and complete documentation
