Process Engineer- Extrusion

Marvin Composites is hiring a Process Engineer at our Extrusion plant in Fargo, ND. Are you passionate about supporting process optimization and driving improvements in a hands-on manufacturing environment? As a Process Engineer specializing in extrusion, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the development of new products and improving current products. From collaborating on tooling design to validating production parameters, you’ll help ensure smooth operations while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Lead the evaluation and improvement of extrusion processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure sustainability
• Collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Quality, and Tool & Die teams to support trials and ensure new products are ready for production
• Support tooling design and trials, establishing production parameters during development to ensure quality and performance standards
• Develop and document SOPs, train operators, and champion a collaborative team environment
• Resolve production challenges in real-time, recommending tooling or process adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality

• Experience or education in extrusion processes, polymers, or coatings

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required- Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing engineering degrees are preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience using structured methods
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical prints
• Strong collaboration abilities to work effectively across teams
