Tool & Die Maker

Marvin Composites is hiring a Tool and Die Maker at our Fargo, ND facility. As a Tool and Die Maker, you will play a key role in setting up and operating equipment in our modern Tool and Die department! With our brand-new machinery at your disposal, you'll focus on delivering outstanding workmanship, supporting production with timely repairs, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, team-centered environment.

• Work with advanced equipment in a well-equipped Tool and Die department
• Set up and operate machine tools such as surface grinders and mills
• Perform quality checks using measuring and gauging tools
• Heat-treat materials using specialized equipment
• Support production with timely repairs, while minimizing scrap and waste

Schedule:

Overnights: 6:30 PM - 6:45 AM
Work 7 out of 14 days every two weeks. Every other weekend is a 3 day weekend off!!
The normal work schedule includes working 36 hours one week (Sun/Wed/Thu) and 48 hours the next (Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat)

Pay:

$24-33/ hr.

pay based on experience 

• Mechanical or technical proficiency with related experience or a technical degree
• Strong blueprint reading and machine tool operation skills
• A team-focused mentality, with the ability to train and mentor
• A proactive approach to supporting production and solving challenges
