Highlights of your role

  • Design and develop new equipment from concept to implementation, demonstrating innovation and efficiency in engineering concepts and designs.
  • Specify and design complex custom-built equipment and systems that meet the project scope, integrating them into production utilizing hands-on fabrication, installation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Lead appropriate training sessions and support the development and implementation of equipment and process innovations that will improve our efficiency and capabilities.
  • Drive efficiency by advancing and implementing new technologies and innovation, ensuring that project success is achieved (scope met, on time, on budget) using defined departmental processes.
  • Identify and implement equipment improvement opportunities on existing equipment, capturing, interpreting, and communicating data to drive improvement projects; determining root causes, developing solutions, and validating and implementing them as required.
  • Provide engineering support to Production, Maintenance, and other teams as needed in a multi-disciplined environment, delivering projects that exceed customer needs.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Experience in machine design
  • Preferred: Plastics processing experience

Also want to make sure you have

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, required
  • Mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
  • Project management experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills: essential for effective collaboration and responding effectively to changing project need
